Over the past decade, TUSONGE Community Development Organization has been a catalyst for change in Tanzania, focusing on women’s rights, economic empowerment, and social justice. Established in 2011, TUSONGE has directly benefited 8,663 individuals, including women, men, youth, children, people with disabilities (PWDs), and civil society organizations (CSOs).
Reflecting on its ten-year journey, TUSONGE has made significant strides in community development. The organization’s holistic approach, encompassing economic empowerment, human rights education, and environmental conservation, has led to tangible improvements in the lives of many. As TUSONGE looks to the future, it remains committed to its mission of fostering sustainable development and equality across Tanzania.
